Stampin’ Up!’s Joyful Christmas Stamp Set

This card was created for Founder's Swap by a very dear friend Deb Valder.  She used the Joyful Christmas Stamp Set, one of the many stamp set that I like from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog.  She did the technique called Stained Crystal.  The technique is done on Stampin' Up! Window Sheets.  These sheets are clear and you stamp with StazOn Ink, which is a permanent ink.  On the side you stamped on, you will paint on Crystal Effects which is a milky liquid that dries clear.  In the Crystal Effects you will add ink refills to color it, as you can see Deb used Cherry Cobbler as her primary color.  After coloring it in, and while it is still wet, she added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  Once the Crystal Effects dries it holds the glitter in place.  This card is so stunning in person.  I will have to think about dong a video with this technique.  Or maybe I will do it during my upcoming Stamps-in-the-Mail Program.  Watch for details about my Stamps-in-the-Mail Program that will be starting in January with new items from Stampin' Up!'s New Occasions Catalog.  This is a program where I mail all the supplies to do three different projects for three months.  It is for those that want to come to my stamp classes but live too far away.  Have you purchased from me within the last year?  If so, you should be receiving your Occasions Catalog in the mail mid-December, it has lots of fun new stamps and accessories in it.  If you have not purchased from me and do not have a Stampin' Up!
