Stampin' Up! has so many wonderful punches to choose from. I love to use punches for my words. Because when I punch the words out, I always know they will be lined up perfectly.
In today's Video, I hope it makes you think about different ways to layer your punches. I normally punch a larger punch for the background and smaller punch with the word on top.
But you get a whole different look when you punch the center out of your larger punch, and put your words under this punch. This forms a shadow box look that can also be used with your framelits. Make sure you check back tomorrow, as tomorrow's video will show you an adorable card done with this techniques and framelits.
I have been busy designing for my upcoming Spring Stamp Retreat that will be held in Northwest Pennsylvania, see full details HERE.
During this retreat, those attending will be making a reference chart with over 15 different ways to layer with punches. Don't know about you, but I tend to get stuck using the same layering on my cards. This chart will be a great reference tool for these ladies with future scrapbook and card making.
