Today’s Creative Fold Video features a 3-D Flower Pot. We did this project during my recent Stamp Retreat, and it was a hit.
I started off with a 4″ x 12″ piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock that is scored at 3″, 6″ and 9″. This forms the Pot. I also took 4-1″ x 5″ piece of Crumb Cake scored in half to form the legs. All these pieces were stamped with the hardwood background stamp and sponged with Early Espresso Ink.
The grids on the inside to fold the grass and flowers were 4 pieces of Crumb Cake. These measured 1″ x 3 3/4″ and they were scored at the 1/2″ mark on each side. They go inside the pot just like we did the card in a box card.
I used 6 pieces of Garden Green Card Stock 2 3/4″ x 3 5/16″ and fringed them to form the grass with my fringe scissors. One piece goes on each grid and one in the front of the pot and one in the back to give you nice full grass.
The flowers were made with Hello Honey Card Stock and sponged in Hello Honey Ink. I used the Spiral Flower Bigz dies to cut them out. Before assembling them I punched a hole in the center and ran a piece of floral wire through and secured with scotch tape to hold the flowers up.
I hope you give it a try and share your creations with me.

Lovely flower pot. I like how it looks like real wood, I didn't know there was a stamp for that. Great video, you make it look really easy. Thanks for sharing!
