Time For Creative Inking Blog Hop Mother’s Day Bag in a Box Purse

3D Papercraft Projects· Stamping Tips· Videos

Blog hop

This month's Creative Inking Blog Hop is featuring stamped items for Mother's Day.  I am so excited with my little purses.  I was inspired to do this for Mother's Day from a post I seen on a Facebook Group I am on.  I have two different versions on this post.

Bag in a Box Purse_Linda Bauwin

This purse I filled with filler made from our fringe scissors .  In this purse, I will put a gift certificate.   Love the tulips from the Painted Blooms Designer Paper. You will need to come back tomorrow, as I will posting a video on how I made this Bag in a Box Purse.

Notice anything else with this purse?  Look at the size of that butterfly?  Notice that it is smaller then the thinlit die from SU!  Want to know how I achieved that? I will be posting a video for this technique on Friday.   Check out the different size Swallowtail Butterflies.  Too Cool.

The second purse I have filled with some 4" x 4" note cards that coordinate with the purse.  I have also made some special envelopes using the envelope punch board.  Check out the Hello You Thinlits I used on these cards.  They too use the cool new technique that I will show you on Friday.  So don't forget to stop back.

Now it is time to head on over to BJ Peters blog.  I am sure she has some thing cool to share.

Oh wow, Linda I am so intrigued- I rarely use the big swallow tail die because of it's size, I'll be back for sure, thanks for sharing your awesome projects, love them all!

Bending and gluing down the thinlit words in a curve adds so much interest. Nice job.
