Today's Creative Fold Video features a single butterfly slider. The picture above shows the card closed. The picture below shows the card open.
I used stamps from both of Stampin' Up!'s butterfly stamp sets. The Watercolor Wings and the Butterfly Basic Stamp Set. I can't seem to draw myself away from these two sets. Have you added them to your stamp collection yet?
I have featured the Watercolor Wings last month as a Stamp of the Month Kit. When you purchase it as a Stamp of Month, you get some other wonderful ideas on how to use the set. Make sure you check it out.
This is one of those WOW creative folds that takes very little to make. You start with your basic 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of card stock. You will need to score at the 4" and 8" marks.
I then placed a piece of the English Garden Designer Series Paper on the front section that measured 3 3/4" x 5 1/4". I put the card back into my personal trimmer. I lined up the score line that was made at the 8" at the 1" mark on my trimmer.
I made a slit by cutting from 1" to 4 1/2". This is what makes your slider. Watch the video for all the placement.
