Creative Fold- Offset Card

Hand Stamped Cards· Stamping Tips· Video Series - Creative Folds

18 Aug

Offset Card_Linda Bauwin

Today's Creative Fold Video is so quick and easy.  It uses the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack.  This stack of paper is so bright and cheery.  It comes 6" x 6" with 48 sheets that are double-sided, with 4 each of 12 different patterns.  I also used the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and Tree Builder Punch.  This stamp set and punch is part of my Stamp of the Month Kits.  Have you checked out this program yet?

This Offset Card has a base that is Tip Top Taupe and measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/2".  The folded part of the card, is Watermelon Wonder, and measures 4" x 8 1/2" and is scored at the 4 1/4".  The Offset part of the card measures 2 1/4" x 4 1/4".  Make sure you do not glue it down to high on the front of the card.  You don't want to pay extra postage.  You want to keep the card size to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

I used a piece of the Cherry on Top Designer Paper that measured 2" x 4" and a glue that to a piece of Cucumber Crush.

Then with the Tree Builder Punch and the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set, I created the front of the card.  Doesn't that ice cream cone look like you could bite right in to it?  Did you catch the video I did with the tips and tricks on using the tree builder punch?  If not you can view here.

What color cardstock did you use for the cone?
