Double-Opening Card

Hand Stamped Cards· Stamping Tips· Video Series - Creative Folds

Double-Opening Card Creative Fold Linda Bauwin

Today's creative fold video features a double-opening card.  This card design was shared with me by Leigh Amburgey of Mentor.  It uses the very poplar Happy Scenes Stamp Set, and the Happy Haunting Designer Paper.

This creative fold is very simple to make.  You are just making two cards with one being a 1/4" of an inch smaller.  So your card sizes are simply 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", and the inside is 5 1/4" x 8".

As you will see in the video, the small size card is the inside and the fold is on the right hand side, instead of the left.  The only hard part of this card, is making sure you mask the front so that whatever your stamp image is that it will show through the window.

Now it's your turn to get creative, and don't forget to share the samples you come up with.

Reminder this Month's Hostess Code is RV3S62DB.  Place an order in my Online Store and you will get a gift and hand stamped card from me.  But remember you must not click No Contact.  If you do this, I will not get your information.  And of course you always earn Linda's Loyalty Points with your Online Order.

Linda, I love your card. I saw this hint from another demo. Use two-way glue on mask, let dry and then it will stay put whilst you do the rest of the techniques. It is like another pair of hands.

Thanks Jan I have used the two-way glue trick. Unfortunately when I went to do this card I forgot. Some days I remember things others not so much.
