Today's Creative Fold Video features a Double Dutch Fold Card, and some more sneak peaks from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration. I used the new Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog along with the Honeycomb Embellishments.
These Honeycombs Embellishments come in a set of 12, 4 each of 3 colors, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaroon, and White. They work so well with the Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set that you can get FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a $50 purchase, which starts on January 5.
The base card for the Double Dutch Card is 4 3/16" x 9" scored at 5 1/2". PLEASE NOTE I stated it is scored at 5" in the video. That is incorrect it is scored at 5 1/2". The double dutch doors at the bottom are made from a piece of Soft Suede Card Stock that measures 2" x 8 1/2" and is scored at the 2 1/8" and the 6 3/8". The layer of the designer paper which is from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" with the Mint Macaroon Card Stock used for the layering measures 1 7/8" x 1 7/8". The front flap layered that I missed in the video measures 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" and this is Mint Macaroon, and the Blushing Bride is layered on top and stamped it is 3" x 3 1/2".
Please review your written instructions. Is the base scored at 5" or 5-1/2"? On the written instructions, you state 5-1/2" but in the video, you state 5". Also, take a look at your front flap measurements – 3-1/3" (?) and 3-2/4" (?) Shouldn't that be 3-1/4" x 3-3/4"? Also, there is no rose red card stock. That should be Mint Macaron. Also, don't you have the measurements for the Mint Macaron and DSP reversed? The Mint Macaron is 1-7/8" x 1-7/8" and the DSP is 1-3/4" x 1-3/4".
