Nothing warms my heart more than going to the mail box and finding an unexpected hand-stamped card. This month is full of those happy occasions with all the Christmas Cards, and I so appreciate every one of them. But I got some really unexpected happy mail a couple a days ago from three special ladies.
Sherm Langan, Dorie Schultz, and Sue Brockhurst had invited be to a wine weekend get-away. I was so excited about going, as they were going to do shoe box swaps and tour some local wineries. Wine and stamping the time away sounded so inviting, but it was the weekend after my Dad's surgery, so I had to take a rain check.
They were so kind and each made their shoe box swap cards for me and sent it to me. They were so beautiful, so I want to share them with you.
This card was done by Sherm Langan from Hickley, Ohio using the Happy Scenes and Heart & Home Thinlits Dies. But check out those curtains done with 1" Dotted Lace Trim. So adorable.
The next card is done by Sue Brockhurst from Parma, Ohio. She used the beautiful Definitely Dahlia stamp set along with the hostess set Happy Birthday Everyone. I so love the way she only cornered rounded one of the four corners, giving it a totally different look.
The third card was made by Dorie Schultz from Richfield, Ohio. She also used the Heart & Home Thinlits Dies but check out her blinds. Of my gosh simply adorable. And they are done with designer series paper. I see a video coming up on this technique.
Thanks gals!
