Today's creative fold video was inspired by this card created by Missy Shipman for a card swap I was in. It uses the beautiful designer series paper Botanical Gardens and the Botanical Builders Framelit Dies. The designer series paper and the framelits are both part of a bundle that also includes a stamp set.
This bundle is huge, as the stamp set has 17 photopolymer stamps, the framelit dies include 14 dies that match the stamp set, plus the designer series paper that is 12 sheets 2 each of 6 designs. And the great part is it is my Stamp of the Month Kit this month. You will also get the Perfect Pairings Stamp Set in this kit and an added surprise from me.
If you already have this bundle, you can substitute other products in your bundle. Here is the card I created for the video. This is a bonus card, as it is not in my Stamp of the Month Kit, you will 7 other card designs in that kit
When you watch today's video to learn how to do the creative fold, you will see me have a major senior moment. Do you ever get something in your head and can't get it out? Well that is what happens in the video and some times it scares me that this happens, but hay you got to laugh at yourself right?
So in order to make this pleated card I used a piece of card stock that measures 2 3/4" x 7 1/2" and I scored it at 1 3/8", 2 1/2", 4" and 4 1/2". This is where I have my mental block. You take the tip of the card stock and lineup on your trimmer at the 1 1/2" mark and you will cut at an angle to the 4 1/2" score line.
Here are the cards I did using the same creative fold but with the Balloon Celebration Bundle.
