New Creative Fold Video With Designer Paper

Hand Stamped Cards· Sales & Specials· Video Series - Creative Folds

11 Oct

New Video with a Creative Fold, using the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper.  I am calling this card a full fold, but it could be called a full pleated card, or a full curtain card with designer series paper.  Whatever you decide to call it it is very stunning.

To create the full fold with the designer series paper I started with a piece of Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper that measured 4" x 11".  I then scored it at 1", 1 1/2", 2", 3", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", 5", 6", 6 1/2", 7 1/2", 8", 9", and then at 9 1/2".

Then along both 4" sides I made a pencil mark 1 1/4" up on both ends, and then cut from this mark to the 5" score line on one line and the 6" score line on the other side.

You will fold by doing a mountain, valley fold completely across to form the full fold.  I then adhered this to a piece of Mint Macron Card Stock that measured 3 3/4" x 5".  I put a one inch strip of Mint Macron Card Stock across the center that measured 6".

I cut out a piece of Island Indigo Card Stock with the Flourish Thinlits.  And I was able to adhere to the front very easily, because I used Tear & Tape when I cut it out.  Have you seen the video where I show you how to do this quick technique to make glutting your thinlits a snap? If not check it out.

I used the Layering Ovals Thinlits and the Teeny Tiny Wishes to accent the front and also an Enamel Shape.

Don't miss out on the Great Designer Series Paper Special that is going on until Oct. 31.  Also a great idea when purchasing Designer Series Paper to also buy the matching Card Stock Packs to make your card making a snap.
