Is this the most amazing card or what? Yes today is my birthday, and yes I am 61, but this card brought a huge smile. Yes before you ask, I will be doing a video on it when I return from Stampin' Up!'s OnStage in Phoenix, Arizona later next month.
Not only is it a stunning card, it was made by someone who doesn't stamp. Yes you read right. But yet she took the time to design a special card for me for my birthday. Is that special or what?
You see three years ago, God answered a prayer that I didn't even know I had. He brought my Assistant in to my life, Jodie Daniels. At the time when I told her I could give her a couple weeks work, I thought I was doing it to help her, as she was between jobs.
You see, I was not looking for an assistant, especially one who didn't stamp. But she has truly been God Sent as she keeps me on track when I am not sure where I am headed.
I was out-of-town a few days last week doing workshops out of my area. Jodie was left alone in my stamp room to cut card stock for the retreat I am doing this weekend. Well she did an amazing job getting that all together. Plus she designed on her own this card. Feeling so totally blessed. Thank you God for my Jodie.
Happy Birthday, Linda! What a beautiful card your Jodie created. Love the colors, all the balloons and the style of the card, especially how she did the "61". However, I think she did the wrong number and it should have been "51"! I am looking forward to the video as I have all the ingredients. Have fun at On Stage and have a great weekend.
