Uneven Gate Fold Card

Hand Stamped Cards· Video Series - Creative Folds

25 Oct

#unevengate #lindabauwin w

I am so grateful for my faithful followers who understand my senior moments.  I have never been one to go back a change a video because of my mistakes.  Why?  Well one I don't have the time nor patience for that.  And Second I am who I am.  And some days that is a royal mess.

So bear with me on today's video, as you well know some days I have my act together and some days it's questionable.  But I have the correct measurements for you for this Uneven Gate Fold Card listed below and on my video..

The card is the standard 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Garden Green Card Stock.  Along the 8 1/2" side, I scored at the 2 1/2" on one side and the 1 3/4" on the other side.  This formed my Uneven Gate Opening for my 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" standard card.

On the Flap that is the 1 3/4", I adhered a piece of This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper that measures 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" .  On the Flap that was scored at the 2 1/2", I adhered a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock that measures 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" and a piece of the Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper that measures 2" x 5".

I used the Metallic Foil Doilies on each of the flaps and layered them on top of each other.  I next used the Layering Circle Framelits to stamp my verses on.

I hope you enjoy today's video and card, and that I didn't take such a simple card and make it too difficult.  Thanks for your patience.
