So excited that Stampin' Up! will soon be releasing new Watercolor pencils to their collection. I have had the privilege, because demonstrators can receive new product a month early, to be playing with these pencils. And I know what you are thinking, but Linda doesn't like to color. Okay I have to say I am starting to like it.
Look at the card I have created using these pencils?
Not only did I use the water coloring technique I used paper piercing on the dress. And did you check out the stamp set? It is called "Beautiful You" and it is among my favorites in the new Occasions Catalog. Some very nice sayings.
So what do you think? Not to bad for someone who doesn't like to color huh? On this card I just used the pencils to color a shading for a background. This technique sure changes the looks of your card.
These pencils just may turn me in to an artist, or maybe just a want-to-be artist. They are high quality smooth color pencils. Perfect for water coloring stamped images. You can use with the Aqua Painter or the Blender Pens.
As you will learn in the video you can use Whisper White Card Stock, or Watercolor Paper to color on, but I am find the Shimmering White Card Stock to be my favorite. Ca't wait for you to give them a try and tell me which paper you like to color on.
There are thirteen Stampin' Up! Colors in this collection of pencils being released now, but I am sure there are more colors on the horizon. Check out the video for more great tips on how to use these pencils.
