Check out today’s Peek-a-Boo Flip Video

Hand Stamped Cards· Video Series - Creative Folds

10 Jan

You are going to love this creative fold card, that was inspired from Julie Davison.  I have been wanting to do this card for months, but thought it would be too hard.  WRONG!!

Here is the card closed.  I used lots of new product from the Occasions Catalog.  First the beautiful new Special Reason Bundle.  Stay tuned as this will be my March Stamp of the Month Kit.   I also used the Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, the Lace Doilies,  and check out those little butterflies.  They come from the Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies.  You are going to be seeing a lot more of those butterflies as I am in love with those framelits.

Here is the card open.  On my sample card I used the Delicate Details Stamp Set that is a free item during Sale-a-Bration.  I forgot to use in the video but I added a fun new twist to the video card.

To make this card I used the following pieces of card stock.

  • 8 1/2" x 11" Dapper Denim Card Stock scored at the 5 1/2" and then cut at the 4 1/4" making two A2 cards
  • Take one of the 4 1/4" x 11" pieces and cut at 8 1/4"
  • Take the other one and cut at 5 3/4"
  • 4 1/4" x 8 1/4" Very Vanilla scored at 4 1/4"

That's all you need to create the base of this fun Peek-a-Boo Flip Card.  If you are joining me for my stamp event in the Rochester New York area this weekend you will be making this card.  What fun we are going to have.
