What do you think? Look like real Succulents? Well there not. They are card stock, and I am loving them. Why? Became I kill every house plant I get. Have beautiful flower gardens outside but inside no way.
I took a piece Crumb Cake Card Stock, and stamped it with the Gorgeous Grunge and the Timeless Textures Stamp Set in Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Ink. I then sprayed with Rubbing Alcohol and crunched it up, to give it an aged look. I then took a Project Life Card Collection Box and covered it with the Crumb Card Stock.
I used this box as a gift box for a dear friend's birthday gift. But what made the gift come a live is the beautiful succulents on top. Don't they look real?
I was so pleased with the look of the gift box. I can't wait to make more of these beauties. Watch, as I will have to do a video in the coming days and show you just how easy these succulents come together with the Succulent Framelits Dies found in the Occasions Catalog. Hard to believe I start the succulents with Old Olive and Crumb Cake Card Stock.
