Check Out All The Glimmer

Hand Stamped Cards· Video Series - Whats Up with Stampin' Up!· Videos

24 Feb

Have you got your free pack of assorted 6" x 6" glimmer paper?  When you place an order of $50 you can get this paper free.  Check out today's video, this card shines.

I am very impressed with this glimmer paper when you cut it out with the framelits dies.  It cuts clean and crisp, with very little glitter mess.  It is always best, when possible, to cut on the paper side of the glitter paper.

You will see in the video, I used the got-to-have, Stylish Stems Framelits Dies which has a matching stamp set, Special Reason.  This does come as a bundle, and is so different than any framelits we have had in the past.  As you can just cut a negative image of the flower, if you want.

Glimmer paper can be a little tricky to adhere to your projects.  I am finding tat the Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue is becoming my best friend with this paper.  Did you check out the cute little butterfly it came from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.

I used the Lots of Labels layering framelits and the Festive Embossing Folder to create my background for the card.  Are you finding, like me, that is hard to have just a plain card stock background?  You just need to jazz it up a bit.

Time is running out to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s Ultimate Bundle, the Starter Kit.  Why wouldn't you want to get over $200 worth of product for only $99 with free shipping?

Did you know by purchasing the kit you will be able to buy any of the retiring items from the annual catalog, plus all the new items in the 2017-2018 Catalog, at a minimum 20% discount.  Need more information? Check it out here.

Love this card. I have a question though. On the embossed white, did you emboss then cut it out, or did you cut and then emboss? I love your videos, and especially your special folds. Thank you for sharing your talents.

I cut the white label out adhered to the black, then emboss both together. That way they embossing lined up. Thanks for letting me know you enjoy my videos.
