This past weekend, I was invited back to Camp Judson in North Springfield, PA to share my love of rubber stamping.
Camp Judson is the camp that I do my personal stamp retreats at. Well that camp offers several times a year a craft retreat. Well the only retreat I have ever been to is mine. I always prepared all the projects that my retreat goers do. So this was a real eye opener for me.
This ladies are SERIOUS crafters. Check it out.
There were quilter, painters, card makers, scrapbookers you name it. These ladies brought everything. Kind of like what I do when I do a retreat. But what I noticed was it was very relaxed and everyone was sharing there projects with each other. There was a lot of fellowship going on.
So my little brain starting working, that this may be something I will try in the future. One giant weekend of shoe box projects. That would be where everyone would bring a project to share with everyone else. So it wouldn't be all about what I created. I could enjoy the time creating and those bringing their project could shine.
I would love your feedback on your thoughts about a retreat like this. Cost would be reduced, if I wasn't creating everything, but then each of you would need to bring a project. So leave comments at the bottom of this post on your thoughts.
Don't forget about my Customer Appreciation PDF. So many requested to just purchase the PDF, so I am offering that option for $9.95. E-mail at jlbauwin@roadrunner.com and I will give the details to get this PDF with exclusive videos.
I think this would be an awesome idea. I did this several times, but on a much smaller scale.
I've been to a couple of retreats where we took our own projects to work on and the fellowship and sharing was great fun. I'd still like to come to one if yours though where I don't have to bring everything!
Susan I would lovefor you to come to a retreat
