Pop Up Butterfly Card Video

Hand Stamped Cards· Video Series - Creative Folds

11 Apr

#popupbutterflycard #lindabauwin

Here is the front of the card in today's video.  It uses two of the retiring Stampin' Up! Color Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder. I so love this color combination.

Have you checked out Stampin' Up!'s Retirement List yet?  Don't delay as the In Colors and accessories always go fastest.

I used the words from the Beautiful You Stamp Set, that is the Occasions Catalog.  I am happy to report this set along, with the Watercolor Wings that I made the butterfly from, will still be available in the New 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalog in June.  Along with the Layering Ovals and Stitched Framelits that make layering a breeze.

The inside of the card featured the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper.  You need to check out the video to see how I got this butterfly to pop up inside the card.

This technique can be used with so many of our dies.  You just need a solid cut out for the back image and and detailed cut out for the front.  Along with two pieces of card stock that measure 1/4" x 1".  These two piece are what you adhere to the back of the solid butterfly to make it pop up.  View the view on the tips to place your adhesive.

The card base is the standard 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at the 4 1/4".  You need to give this card a try as it gives a WOW with not much effort.  I used the Timeless Tags Thinlit Dies that are in the Occasions Catalog for the little butterfly accent.  Sad to report this set of dies are retiring too.

DON'T FORGET while ordering your retiring items to use the Hostess Code PEXMMHH2 to receive my Nailed It Bundle PDF.  So sad to see this bundle retire too.  Such a great masculine bundle.
