Sunset Galaxy Sky Stamping Technique

Hand Stamped Cards· Stamping Tips· Video Series - WOW Moment

26 May

#sunsetgalaxyskytechnique #lindabauwin

Today's Video features a Stamping Technique called Sunset Galaxy Sky Technique.  This technique was shared during my TEAM Technique Challenge by a member of my Stamp Family Mary Ann Rossiter.

Mary Ann was one of the winners of my TEAM Challenge and she received a Gift Certificate, which she is choosing to hold on to until the release of the New Catalog, next Thursday June 1st.

Here is the card that I showcased in today's video.  I followed Mary Ann's directions but I chose to use the following colors when I sponged with the daubers.

  • Daffodil Delight Classic Ink
  • Peekaboo Peach Classic Ink
  • Rose Red Classic Ink
  • Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink
  • Craft Stampin Ink White

As you will see in the video, burnishing these colors into Whisper White Card Stock gives the appearance of the colors in a sunset.  Then I used the Aqua Painter to spatter some water.  Then I followed that step by stamping with the Timeless Textures Stamp Set with the White Craft Stampin' Ink.

This is such a stunning look.  I used the oldest stamp set I had to stamp the trees, Lovely as a Tree.   This stamp set has been around long than me.  It is still a go to stamp set.  Do you have it in your collection?

Now watch the video for more tips.  Make sure you join my as I start the countdown to the new catalog as I showcase some of the fun new products with video.
