Creative Inking Blog Hop – Two Step Stamping

Hand Stamped Cards

20 Jul

I am glad you joined us for our Blog Hop Two Step Stamping.  Two Step Stamping is what hooked me on rubber stamping.  It is a great way to get a WOW factor in short time.

#tranquiltulips #lindabauwin

Tranquil Tulips is my favorite two Step Stamp Set in the current catalog.  It has 22 photopolymer stamps that work so well together.

When I Two Step Stamp I always start with the largest image in the lightest color and then stamp the smallest imagine on top in a little darker color.

If you only have one color ink pad it is no problem.  You would take the largest image ink it and then stamp off on a scrap piece of paper.  Then you will stamp on your car stock, this will give you a lighter shade.  Next take the image to stamp on top ink full strength on top of the larger lighter image.  Doesn't get easier then that.

I am so excited to report, that in the Holiday Catalog that will be released in September, there are so many Two Step Stamping Sets.

Check out this card done with the Tranquil Tulips

I love the soft look in this card using a monochromatic color scheme.  The next card is bold and uses two different colors of ink to create a stunning look.

The Tranquil Tulips is a Hostess Rewards Set meaning you must use Hostess Rewards to get this set.  It is only $10 with your Hostess Rewards so just by collecting $150 in orders, or purchase that much yourself you could have this great Two Step Stamping Set.

I shared this video a while ago using the same Tranquil Tulips Set.

You will want to check back tomorrow as I release My Million Dollar Stamp Set "Half Full" that will be in the Holiday Catalog along with a cool Stamping Technique.

Now it's time to head over to Sue Lehrer's Blog and see what she has created for us.
