Sponged Brayer Background Video

Hand Stamped Cards· Stamping Tips· Video Series - WOW Moment

14 Jul

#spongebrayervideo #lindabauwin

In today's video you are going to learn how to sponge brayer this beautiful beach scene.  The Sponge Brayers are the best kept secret in the Stampin' Up! Catalog.   We use to have rubber brayers and I could never get a nice smooth background with them.   The sponge brayers are different and very inexpensive and easy to use.

My video today was inspired by a card I got in a card swap from a dear friend Kim Peck.  Kim's card has much softer colors then my card, showing how versatile these brayers can be.

Kim and I both used the same color Classic Ink Pads: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Crushed Curry and Peekaboo Peach but we still got such different looks because of the amount of ink we put on our cards.

I used the High Tide Stamp Set, where Kim used the Colorful Seasons.  We both used the adorable chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits, which you can get with the Colorful Season as a Bundle.

By using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and the Wink of Stella you get a beautiful shimmering sun.
