When I think of watcoloring I think of coloring between a line-art image. But watercoloring can just be a splash of color behind a stamped image.
Today's examples of watercoloring come from my TEAM Challenge last month, and were created by Mary Ann Rossiter of Auburn Township, Ohio.
This first card Mary Ann submitted she used watercolor paper and watercolored strips of color. Then took the Black Stampin' Writer Marker and built a frame around the color. It's hard to see but she has some of the 1/4" Copper Trim behind the black butterfly that was made with the Move Me Thinlits. Then just adding a couple sequins to finish the card.
This card is my favorite with the Splash of watercoloring behind the birthday greeting. This is done on regular Whisper White Card Stock.
So many little accents with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, to the Gold Foil Eclectic Layers Thinlits and Gold Sequins.
When you are thinking about watercoloring whether it is for lines images or to create images like Mary Ann did, the Aqua Painter and/or Blender Pens are must have tools.
