I wanted to share another Stampin Blends card we did at my recent retreat. As demonstrators we were able to preorder the Blends before everyone else. I did the two cards during the retreat with the Blends to see how well they stood up to lots of use.
With thirty ladies doing this card, as well as the card I shared on Saturday, I was very pleased with the outcome. These markers have such vivid bold color and are easy to color with. And for me the best perk of the Stampin' Blends is they match Stampin' Up! Colors.
We used the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set once again on this card. The verse is from the Heartfelt Sympathy Stamp Set. You can't tell by the picture, but we used the Stitched Shape Framelits and the Layering Ovals to create the frame around the words.
This card really has a lot o f shimmer to it, as we used the Wink of Stella over top of the flower once we colored it. I am finding I really love the look of Wink of Stella after I use the Stampin' Blends.
Don't miss those pearls. May be hard to tell in the picture, but they are Daffodil Delight. How did that happen? With the Blends of course. Yes now you can have every color pearl and rhinestone as you do Blends.
I so encourage you to purchase at least a couple of the Blends colors and give them a try. I think you will be impressed.
