Well today I want to share the second place winner, which is also so stunning. It was created by Karen Burke from Rochester New York.
Karen used my favorite Specialty Designer Series Paper in the Occasions Catalog, Painted With Love. There truly are no words to explain how beautiful this paper is. It has colorful, sophisticated designs with gold foil accents. The gold foil accents are on one side, brushstroke imagery on the other. You get 12 sheets that are 12" x 12" with 6 double-sided designs. This designer series paper is featured with the Sure Do Love Bundle, but it is not just for Valentine Cards. This paper is good all year when you need to make an very elegant card.
Karen's card is not just about the beautiful Designer Series Paper, it is also about the Beautiful Day Stamp Set. This set has a flower and a butterfly with a stained glass look. Color them in and make them your own, like Karen did.
She used Watercolor Paper with her Aqua Painter and Classic Ink Pads to do her water coloring. She embossed the Butterfly with the VersaMark Ink Pad and then Heat Embossed with Gold Powder. Simply stunning.
