Today's video is a technique video. I will show you how to double emboss. I know you have embossed with an embossing folder before, and I know you have heat embossed before. Well I am going to show you how to do both at the same time.
I used the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, that is found in the Occasions Catalog and is part of the Petal Passion Suit. These embossing folders are very easy to miss in the catalog. I also used the VersaMark Ink Pad and Gold Embossing Powder to get the double embossing look.
The Stampin' Blends were used to color the image in after it was embossed. The word "friend" is from the Happy Wishes which is a free Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set. At the top of the card, I used the Gold Metallic Ribbon and colored in with the Calypso Coral Blends.
Have you noticed how much more I am coloring? Coloring was something I never did much of, until the Stampin Blends came along. Think others may be experiencing the same thing with the Blends as many colors are on back order.
