Creative Inking Blog Hop – Sketch Challenge

Hand Stamped Cards

21 Apr

#creativeinkingbloghop #lindabauwin

Welcome to Creative Inking Blog Hop Sketch Challenge, so glad you joined us for our first time to offer a sketch challenge.  Can't wait to see what the other ladies do with this sketch.

No automatic alt text available.

It was fun working with this sketch and I created three different cards.  I personally found it was easy to have a stunning background with designer series paper.

This card I used Peekaboo Peach Card Stock for my base card, and a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic Black on top.  I used 3 pieces of Peek-a-boo Peach that measured 1" x 5" and glued 3 pieces of Petal Passion Designer Series Paper on top that measured 3/4" x 4 3/4".  With my Aqua Painter I colored in the flowers and even cut out some to accent the verse that was layered with Layering Circles and Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.   Instead of a strip of card stock around the card I used the Peekaboo Peach 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding.

My second card I used Powder Pink Card Stock for my base and Rich Razzleberry Card Stock for my darker background.   I used the stunning Painted with Love Specialty Paper that has gold highlighted in the paper.  The three strips of the designer series paper are  1" x 5".  The band around the card I used a 1" x 4" Powder Pink Card  Stock run through the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder.

For the Highlight on this card I used two retiring items the Gold Glimmer Paper cut out with the Bold Butterfly Thinlits.

My third card is a sneak peek from exclusive bundles from the Share What You Love Suite that will be released as a promotion in May.  You will want to stay tune as you won't want to miss this promotion that starts May 1st.  I will be offering special tutorials for this beautiful bundle.

Now let's hop over and see what Diane Evans has for us. I am sure it will beautiful
