Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop Sketch Challenge. Can't wait to see all the possibilities this sketch will bring to our blog hop. Check it out.
You know me I love Creative Fold Cards, so I took this sketch and turned it in to a card with a creative fold.
Card looks like the sketch correct? But it has a different opening. Check it out. This is what it looks like open.
I used a piece of Sea Foam Card Stock that measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and ran through the Tufted Embossing Fold. Then I took a piece of Tranquil Textures Designer Series 4" x 6". Along the 6" side I scored at the 3" mark to form a little card.
The strip of night of Navy Card Stock measures 1" x 5 1/2" and I ran it through the Tufted Embossing Folder. Then I cut out two of the medium labels from the Stitched Season Framelits and adhered one on the front flap and one on the card base.
I stamp the grouping of flowers from the Blended Season on the top label and used three different mediums to color the flowers in. The blue came from the Water Color Pencil Assortment. These pencils were released this month. We are still do not know whether these pencils will be available in the future or not. I blended the pencils out with a Wink of Stella, really like the look.
The center of the flowers were done with the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. And the leaves were done with an aqua painter and the Sea Foam Classic Ink Pad.
Want a sneak peak of new product from the Holiday Catalog?
This card uses the New Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Detailed Deer Framelits from the Holiday Catalog.
I used Copper Foil for the deer and backing for the designer series paper. The strip across the center of card is the 1/4" Copper Trim that has been pulled apart, stunning card,
