We stampers already know that stamping makes us smile. We love to create, but have you ever thought about how much our cards make some one else's day?
For them it really isn't about the cool creative fold or technique, it is about you thinking of them. I think we have gotten away from connecting through the mail.
The internet has made it easy to just send a e-mail note, a Facebook like or a text. But for me personally it is going to the mail box and finding a card that says I was thinking about you.
I was a card person before I became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, but I never got as many compliments on sending a card, until I started making them.
I can just about bet everyone of you have a large stash of made cards. Am I not right? Why do we think we need to wait for a holiday, birthday, special occasion, or illness before we send a card to some one?
I think the Make a Card, Send a Card makes others smile more when there is no reason to send the card other than you were thinking about that person.
I challenge each of you to go to your card stash and send at least one card to someone you haven't reached out to in a while. I know you will make that person smile.
