This card is another TEAM Challenge Technique Card and was shared by Kim Baker, from Hennepin, IL.
It is hard to tell by the picture put the background of this card is done with the Faux Leather Technique, and it really feels like it is leather.
Kim started by stamping the knots with Crumb Cake Ink on a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock using the Stamparatus and the hinging method.
She then mixed 1/6 glycerine with 5/6 water in to a Stampin’ Up! Spritzer and shake it up. Then she spritzed the card stock lightly working it in with her finger tips easily. She was careful not to use too much pressure and rubbed the top of the Card Stock off. She then crumbled into a ball. She repeat 2 to 3 times until she got the texture she desired.
Kim finished it off with other stamps and dies from the Sailing Home Bundle, the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine and the Sail Away Twinkets. Such a stunning card.
