May 7, 1997 changed my life forever. I bought a Stampin' Up! Starter Kit for one reasosn and one reason only, to get a discount on my paper crafting supplies.
That's it! You see Jay & I owned a Hardware Store were I worked 60 hours a week. I was Fiscal Officer for our Township and Treasurer at our church. So I had no desire to start a business, but I loved to craft. And I wanted everything in the Stampin' Up! Catalog. So being a smart shopper I signed up.
I remember asking Jay several years later, what did you think when I asked about signing up as a demonstrator? He said I thought it was one of your passing craft hobbies, and I gave you a year and you would move on to another hobby.
Well after twenty-three years, I am still as excited about the new catalog and new product to play with as I was back then.
I am blessed with so many amazing friendships, and have travelled the world. This year I earned my 23rd incentive trip.
By becoming a demonstrator back then, has now allowed me to work from anywhere I decide to go. Yes, it is work that I enjoy so much, it has rewarded me with so many blessings. And I am so grateful I invested so little, to achieve so much.
Here's to another 23 years. I can never thank enough my customers, TEAM Members, and everyone I have had the pleasure of working with. You know how to make this job fun.
Have you thought about where Stampin' Up! could take you if you joined My TEAM? I would love to have you in my Stampin' Up! Story and help you achieve amazing things. Right now is the perfect time with the start of the new catalog.
Happy happy stampin anniversary! And to many more!
Congratulations Linda,
Sounds familiar, I started in 1994, thinking I would join to satisfy my daughter, (Sue Berreth), so she would earn a cruise with her sister . Twenty six years later still here, earned a few cruises also.
Thanking God for it all.
Happy Anniversary! And because you made that decision, my life has also been changed for the better. You never know who will be affected by a decision you make. Here's to many more years of paper and ink!
Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Special thanks Mary for the extra sweet words. Some journey we are on.
