I have been challenging myself to do lots of Valentine’s Day Cards this year. There is so much sadness and unhappiness in this world, I thought why not spread some love this year. This may become an Annual thing, we’ll see.
Last week I shared about making all the Valentine’s Day boxes for my Mom’s Assistant Living Home. As I was making them I thought how much love they would spread. Well now I am in to making Valentine’s Day Cards.
I always have felt Valentine’s Day was for your sweetheart, but you know since I have lost Jay, I have come to realize how many other loves I have in my life. The dear neighbor that stops by to see how I am doing. The cousin that gives me a call out of the blue, and I can’t forget the countless girlfriends who are always there to brighten my day.
Well I am finding the Darling Donkeys is the perfect set to spread the love this Valentine’s Day. The Flowers & Field Designer Series Paper, that you can get free during Sale-a-Bration, has lots of beautiful bright colors, that will cheer up everyone who see it. With this card I used the Curvy Dies and the “Be My Valentine” stamp, from the Always in My Heart Stamp Set. But check out the little Resin Heart. Isn’t it the cutest. Don’t miss them in the Mini Catalog on page 55, as they are a must for spreading love.
