All the product I used in yesterday's Creative Fold Video, just a different color of the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper for today's card. If you missed the video you can view here.
So what are your thoughts?
Do you like this card in the Rococo Rose or the Bermuda Bay? Personally I love them both and think that the Rococo Rose is more Feminine and the Bermuda Bay is more Masculine.
I am not one to watch a lot of TV, but when I do, I have a hard time not doing something. But…I can only concentrate on one thing at a time. So if I do watch TV, I can't do something that uses the brain.
Jay always said I couldn't chew gum and walk, and he was right. But recently I stamped several of the Butterflies and Hummingbirds from the Touch of Ink Stamp Set, and while I was watching TV I fuse cut them out. It gave me a great sense of accomplishment. The next day I created a bunch of Note Cards and took them to my Mom in the Assistant Living Faculty. I will share them in the days to come. I think I got my love of sending cards from my Mom because she loves to send encouraging cards.
My Grandmother, on my Dad's side, was the same way, so I guess I got that gene from both sides of my family. I remember making cards for my Grandmother for every occasion when she went in to the Nursing Home. But when she passed I found all my cards in a dresser draw, she never sent.
I can just see her looking at the cards trying to send, but couldn't because she liked it and knew I had made. Kind of like the Mom and her refrigerator with all the art work on. I pray that isn't what happens with my Mom, but if it does I will know she enjoyed them so much she couldn't part with.
Do you make cards and give as gifts? If you don't you should. As it's the gift that keeps on giving.
