Something cool about stamping is that we get inspired by so many things when we creating our cards. Tomorrow I will share a fun layering technique with what I am calling a Peek-a-Boo Die Technique. It was inspired by this card by Sue Floyd.
I really like how she cut the front of the card out with her die to carry the theme into the inside of her card. So I took that idea and took it the next step and did with layering dies. Will nee to come back tomorrow to see what I created. Here is the inside of Sue’s card.
Dies have sure given us so much depth to our stamping projects. Do you remember before Die Cutting Machines? It seems like years ago but it really wasn’t that long ago when we had to fussy cut (cut with our paper snips) it we want a layering look. And a technique like this was able to be achieved without some really fancy cutting.
I think that is why stamping has stayed so strong over the years, as it continues to involve with new techniques and stamping supplies.
