OMG I am in love with this new Stampin Technique, We use to do something similar to it years ago with Color Box Inks, I know that's really dating me. We called the technique Polished Stone.
WELL during my recent TEAM Challenge a new TEAM Member Melissa Sprouse from Greenville, PA took part in the challenge and submitted this card. Check out the background. This card was one of two First Place Winners and earned Melissa a $100 Gift Certificate of product of her choice.
There is probably a name for this technique that I am unaware of , but I am just calling it Stampin' Blends Technique because that is what you use is Stampin' Blends and 91% Rubbing Alcohol. Tomorrow I am going to do a video on this technique. I love the way Melissa used this technique for the background of her card, but I have some fun alternatives other than backgrounds to share tomorrow.
It is fun with this technique to use different colors of Stampin' Blends together. I found the Darker Shades work the best. Can you guess what colors Melissa used on her card? They are Cherry Cobbler, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green. Such a fun technique.
