Faux Sand Technique Video

In today's Technique Video, we are going to make some Faux Sand.  The picture does not do this card justice.  I used the Painted Textured 3D Embossing Folder after I stamped the Crumb Cake Card Stock with Crumb Cake Ink.  Then I tore the Waves of the Sea Designer Series Paper.  When you add that Painted Textured 3D Embossing Folder it really gives you the look of waves and sand.

Another thing that is hard to see in the picture is the Faux Sea Glass Shapes.  I love the beach, and there is nothing quite so beautiful as seeing a glint of color in the sand and finding a sea-tossed piece of soft glass. So I added a touch of frosted beauty with the Faux Sea Glass Shapes. The organic shapes add visual interest and texture to any project—no beachcombing required!  These embellishments come with 150 adhesive-backed frosted shapes in two sizes in three different colors.

I am sorry to say at the time of taping this technique, the Faux Sea Glass Shapes are not orderable.  But they should be back in stock before the January-June Mini retires first of May.

Even though the Waves of Inspiration is a beautiful Stamp Set, I am finding the Limited Edition Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper is perfect with any Ocean Stamp Set.
