The Grove Dies and the New Horizon Designer Series Paper make for a perfect match.
Masculine Cards are always a struggle for me, but with the Grove Dies it is so easy. There are ten dies include trees, bushes, and deer that can be layered to create a forest diorama. The die set also includes a framed tree piece that is sized perfectly to create a large layer on a card front. Tuck additional die-cut elements behind or in front for different looks, like I did on this card.
I die cut the framed tree piece in Basic White Card Stock, then I used the Blending Brushes in both Old Olive, and Evening Evergreen Classic Ink. I used my Stampin' Write Marker in Early Espresso for the tree trunks.
I then used the New Horizons 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper behind the die cut. This paper might possibly be the most beautiful patterned paper you’ll ever buy. These horizon scenes were hand painted by one of our talented artists at Stampin' Up!. The tranquil watercolor imagery will look beautiful on any card front or on a scrapbook page. It’s versatile, too. Turn the paper upside down to change water to sky or whatever you can imagine. It would sure be nice if this paper hung around for awhile.
