Fun Shoe Box Card

Recently Sherm Langan, from Hinckley, OH came for a visit and we did a Shoe Box Swap.  That is where you design a card and the other person creates your card, while you create her card.  I used to do these types of events with my TEAM a lot, but everyone has gotten so busy these days.

It was so much fun to sit and stamp someone else's design.  Sherm created this Double Gate Card for me to make.  She used the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper, which is a retiring paper.  Make sure you check out the Last Chance Product before they are history.  It was such a joy, as it has been a while since I have done a Fancy Fold like this.  

Well I decided for my Creative Fold Video tomorrow I would do this card, but I had a Senior Moment, and cut my Designer Series Paper the wrong size. 

I have always told my customers there are no mistakes in rubber stamp, just reason to embellish.  Well you will need to check back tomorrow to see what I have created, a Double Gate Fold different than anything I have ever done before.

Sherm's Designer Series Paper was cut at 5 1/4" x 12" and she scored at 2", 4", 8", & 10.  Well I cut my Designer Series Paper to 4" x 12" and scored the same, you will have to let me know which you like better.
