Spring Flowers

Here is Ohio we are getting lots of rain.  My Grandfather always said "Spring Showers Bring Spring Flowers".  And a tulip is such a colorful spring flower.

The Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper sure shows off the bright colors of tulips.

This card lay out is great for getting the most out of your Designer Series Paper.  Stampin' Up!'s Paper has a nice bold print on one side, which makes for a great focus point.  I cut that piece at 3" x 4".  But the back side of the paper always has a more natural print, like the polka dots in this paper.  I cut two pieces of the polka dots 1" x 4".

The Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder ads the accent tot he back of the card.  By letting the Designer Series Paper be the focus all you need to do is add your sentiment.  My sentiment comes from the Flowering Tulips Stamp Set and I cut out with the Tasteful Labels Dies.  The embossing fold, dies and designer series paper will soon be history.
