This card is an example of why being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is so much more than Ink and Paper.
A very dear customer remembered it was my 25th Anniversary with Stampin' Up! and sent me this card. If it were not for being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I would have never met Sherry, and her husband Andy.
She wrote "We feel blessed in our home to have met you". Those words touched my heart so dearly, because it was through Sherry's husband that I met her.
It was a very difficult time in my life, as I was going on my first Stampin' Up! Trip just after Jay's passing. I call it a "God Wink" when I sit down on the plane by Andy.
I was carrying on to the plane a clear box with my swap cards I would swap at the Stampin' Up! Event. I was an emotional basket case. I said down by this man who noticed the swap cards I put in the over head compartment. During the flight he mentioned the cards to me, and shared that his wife was a stamper, and he even had pictures of her cards on his phone. What? This is something my Jay would have done.
Needless to say I gave him a catalog, and figured that was the end of that. But it wasn't. Now, seven years later Sherry & Andy still have a special place in my heart.
When I purchased my Starter Kit 25 years ago, I could have never imaged all the amazing people it would bring into my life. Thanks Sherry and Andy for being two of those amazing people, and for remember my 25th Stampin' Up! Anniversary. Love you.
I received so many kind words about how my decision to become a demonstrator change so many other lives with friendship, and worth.
Here are a couple more cards I received. This one from a TEAM Member Sherm. Your kind words meant so much. Thanks
And this one from a dear friend Dorie
Thanks also to all of you that reached our in a text or e-mail. Feel so blessed.
You still have until tomorrow to receive my thank you gift, in celebration of this milestone.
