A couple weeks ago I invited a couple of my Stamping Friends over for a Shoe Box Swap. What a fun day it was. Lots of stamping, laughing, sharing and fellowship.
I encourage everyone who loves to stamp, to invite some friends over to do a Shoe Box Swap. It is so good for the soul.
What is a Shoe Box Swap?
It is where everyone that comes designs card (s) that everyone else will make. The name Shoe Box came from the fact in the beginning we wanted all the supplies to fit in a Shoe Box. But stamping has involved to way more supplies then what will fit in a shoe box to create our cards, LOL. That is why I think stamping has stayed so popular as there is always something new.
It is always so much fun to stamp a card that someone else designed. During our day each of us designed two cards for the others to make. We don’t set any rules, anything goes as we want to make it about the fun with no stress or pressure. Here are one group of cards we created.
This card uses the He’s The Man Suite Products and was created by Leigh Amburgey from Stamp with Leigh.
This card used the Sweet Songbird Bundle by Sherm Langan of Hinckley, Ohio. It had a fun Creative Fold to it.
Sue Floyd from Akron, Ohio created this adorable card with the Heron Habitat Bundle. Wasn’t interested in this Bundle until I used it. Thanks Sue for helping put another item on my wish list.
Again I hope you invited some friends over for a Shoe Box Swap and make your own Stamping Memories.
Product List
All wonderful looking cards.
I do like the fun fold card that Sue Floyd had done. Any instructions for that fold; or exactly what it is called?
Thank you
Enjoy your day
The Creative Fold was done by Sherm Langan. It is an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Card Stock scored at 5 1/2" on the 11" Side. On the 8 1/2" side move Card in to 2 1/8" mark and cut down to score line on both sides of CS Then cut out top to sections. Hope that helps you
This was a great day Linda! Thanks for the reminder to share these events with our team & friends.
Sue
