Yet another great get-away with a Dear Stamping Sister Kim Williams of Butler, PA. We went to the Great Smoky Mountains, and yes we were double trouble, LOL.
We enjoyed so many laughs and went on a lot of Adventures, even a Pink Jeep Ride to check out the countryside.
Our driver was so much fun. He shared so many interesting sights and facts, even got to see two Bear Cubs in a tree.
We stayed at the beautiful Dollywood Resort & Spa. Of course we had to go to the Dollywood Amusement Park, which looked a little strange when we first walked in, because it was decorated for Christmas.
Then we saw the sign to explain what was going one. So our hopes were high we would see Dolly, or better yet be filmed for her show.
One morning when we were riding the tram over to the park, the driver said wave out the window, and it was like what? Then she said there goes Dolly. Of course we didn't see her, but our hopes were high all week, as she is such an amazing women.
Even though we were not in the taping or got to see Dolly, it's okay as we got to feel her love of the Great Smokey Mountains. We plan on watching Dolly Pardon's Mountain Magic Christmas Special, and will reflect on the great time we had.
Once again, so grateful for this adventure and the opportunity to have special friendship with ladies I would have never met ,if it weren't for Stampin' Up!
