When I first started stamping over 25 years ago, we didn’t have dies and die cutting machines. Today we do, so when a stamp set doesn’t have a die for it I usually find don’t use.
I received the Decorative Borders Stamp Set when I attended Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage in Austria. I so love the dainty little flower borders, but there were no dies with the stamp set, which I knew for me that probably meant I wouldn’t use the set.
Did you watch my Tips & Technique Video a couple weeks ago, where I shared how to cut out a Cling Stamp Set when you didn’t have dies? Here is the video if you missed it. With the negative image from the cling stamp set, it made creating a layer from your stamp set easy.
A TEAM Member, Nancy Steedman from Churchville, New York, sent me this great technique using Photopolymer Stamp Sets with no dies. So love it when and idea you have inspires someone else. Thanks Nancy for sharing.
Now let’s watch this clever idea which is perfect for beginner stampers, who may not yet have a die-cut machine, or for us seasonal stampers for stamp sets that don’t have dies.
