I received this box a couple weeks ago from Stampin’ Up! for the upcoming Incentive Trip to Norway. Couldn’t bring myself to get excited until this past week, as I wasn’t sure I was going to be cleared by the doctor to attend.
Thirteen weeks ago I had a total ankle reconstructive surgery, and things were not looking good, but I finally got the clearance to go.
This trip will be my twenty-sixth Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip. Stampin’ Up! wants me to state that this is not the norm, as the level of sales required to achieve this result is accomplished by less than .001 percent of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. For me, I just couldn’t imagine not going on the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip, and have made it my goal to earn every year I’ve been a demonstrator. Especially this year, as it was the first my son, Jason has agreed to go with me.
Let me tell you, this Mom’s heart is full. Jason has travelled in the United States, and we go to Florida every Christmas, but he has never crossed the pond, nor gone on a cruise. But the biggest shock I think he will have is being on a Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip. You see he has never been to a Stampin’ Up! Event. He will be learning first hand what his Mom means when I say “my Stampin’ Up! friends are like family”. After all a lot of us have been travelling together for over 25 years.
Even though I am not ready to go for a long walk, I am so ready to board that plane at 6 a.m. this morning. Jason and I are headed to London for a few days before our cruise around Norway. Then as Jason requested after the 7 day cruise, we are off to Ireland for 4 days. I know Jay is smiling down on us and will be in our heart every step of the way.. So stay tune for updates on our adventure. One blessed Mom in so many ways..
