Simple Spotlighting Technique

Creating a spotlight on your card is simple with a Blending Brush and an ink pad. Every year when the New In Colors come out I offer an In Color Club. This allows my customers to get a new In Color each month and all the accessories to go with them on a budget.

When they get there In Color Pack for the month, I include a card using that month’s featured color, plus a Color Coach Chart. This is the card they will receive for the Pebbled Path.

I used the Spotlight Technique, where I took the negative image from cutting out the circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies with my Blending Bushes to create a focus point. The Color Coach always comes in handle when doing my cards.

I used the suggestion of using to Boho Blue, Moody Mauve, and Old Olive to compliment the Pebble Path Shading. This technique can be changed up in so many ways. Below I used Basic White instead of the Very Vanilla but added the 2023-2023 In Color Dots.

The card below I added another element a raised banner with the verse on it. As you can see, this technique can be so different with just a few modifications. Which one do you like the best?
