Today’s Fancy Fold Video features the beautiful Inked Botanical Suite Collection. I have been sharing lots of cards with this Collection this month. But none of the cards I am sharing are part of that tutorial. The cards I am sharing are additional cards with this beautiful collection.
Yesterday I shared the card Sherm Langan created that inspired today’s card. This Fancy Fold looks complicated but really is not.
You first start with two pieces of card stock that measure 5 1/2″ x 6 1/4″. Along the 6 1/4″ side on both pieces you will score at 1 1/2″, 2 3/4″, and 4 5/8″. Then as you will see in the video, you will hold these two pieces together with a post-a-note, while you adhere a 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and a 3 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ pieces of card stock to the front of card. This is the main part of the card.
Then I used three different sizes of the Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper. The main front piece measured 3″ x 5″ and 2 of the side pieces measure 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″, The two other side pieces measure 1″ x 5 1/4″
Awesome layout. Should be easy to make this out of one 12 x 12 piece of cardstock with just a few changes.
