I shared last month that I was changing up my Newsletters every month with a Card Sketch and some Color Inspiration. Are you a set up as a member of my Newsletter group? If not, you can do so in the right side bar of my blog, or in the pop up that appears when you first enter my blog.
I decided to do this because, I know myself, I get caught up in using the same card layouts and same color schemes. Cause in point is this month. I actually this month shared two Color Inspirations, one for Fall and Halloween Cards and one for Christmas in my newsletter.
This card uses the Christmas Color Inspiration. It was Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Gold. Well I was shock as I don’t ever remember using Shaded Spruce before. But I truly love this shade of green with the Cherry Cobbler. And with the Gold it looks so festive.
I chose to use the new Special Release Designer Series Paper that is available for a limited time in the Online Exclusive Section of my Online Store. The cool thing about this paper is it comes in Gold & Silver and is adhesive backed, which makes using it with our dies super easy. Especially when you use fine detail dies, like I did on this card, from the Magical Meadow Dies.
