Tell me this happens to you, you get a new stamp and you can’t stop creating with it. Cause in point is the Graceful Deer Background Stamp. I got this stamp this past week and just can’t stop using it.

This is the card I created first. It is perfect with any greeting, so I made a couple of them. Why not? I already had my supplies out and on my desk.. I always find when I need a masculine card I never have one in my stash. Masculine cards are not cards I usually make when I’m just stamping. That is why I made several of these, so I will have on hand. All I will need to do is put the greeting on the card.

I stamped it on Basic White Card Stock and then used my Stampin Blends in the Natural Tones. Do you have these Blends? They are easy to miss, as they are not with the regular colors, but found on page 136 of the Annual Catalog. They are the perfect shade to color the deer. I used the Pool Party Blends for the sky and Smokey Slate for the trees..

Look real close, as it is hard to see in the picture, but I used the Pearlized Basics Enamel Effects to create snow drifts. Brace yourselves, as I will be sharing more of this must-have background stamp in the coming days. In fact, tomorrow’s Fancy Fold Video uses it too.
