Thanks for joining our Blog Hop as we celebrate the Season of Giving. With Paper Crafting it is very easy to create adorable personal touches to your gifts. Whether it is a special card that holds a gift card or cute little packaging idea.
Today I thought I’d share a cute packaging idea. These are very inexpensive to make, and perfect to share the Love of Christmas with those we come in contact with, such as our mailman, the teller at the bank or just a stressed out cashier at the check out. I am sure this sweet little gift will put a smile on anyone’s face you decide to give them too. It is a great way to use up the small pieces of designer series paper and embellishments you have left from your Christmas Cards.
You can start with any size candy bar. Simple measure your bar and then at one inch to the width and height. Score at 1/2″ around the four sides to create a little box. I choice to use the More Dazzle Specialty Paper for my box, but I wanted it to be blue like the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper I was using on the outside. So I took my Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends and colored the More Dazzle Paper.
When you have pack of the More Dazzle Specialty Paper you can make any color paper you wish. Here is the inside of my box.
I used the Balmy Blue Sparkle Ribbon but I also colored it with my Blends to make it darker. The little snowflakes are from the Online Exclusive Adhesive Backed Snowflake Assortment. I just added the 2023-2025 in Color Dots in Boho Blue to the center.
