Detailed Dogwood Stamp Set

Are you like me and some times shy away from stamp sets that don’t have dies? Well the technique I used on this card allows you to add depth to your card with no dies.

I simply took a scrap piece of paper and covered up the bottom portion of my card front. I randomly stamped the Detailed Dogwood Stamp, being careful not to overlap the imagines. Then I used Stampin’ Blends in Bubble Bath, Granny Apple Green, and Lemon Lolly to color in. I took my Pool Party Stampin’ Blends and colored in between my images. Add a little Wink of Stella and the top potion of my card was done. I turned the scrap piece around, so that I could then stamp and color the bottom portion of the card, leave about 3/4″ blank so I could stamp my sentiment.

I even did a fun technique with the Paper Butterfly Accents. I first colored it in with my Stampin’ Blends in Bubble Bath and Basic Black. Next I took my VersaMark Ink Pad, and inked the whole butterfly. With my Reverse Tweezers, from my Embossing Additions Tool Kit, I held the corner of my butterfly and dipped into Clear Embossing Powder. I shook off excess powder, and heat set, with my Heat Tool. This give my Butterfly a thick epoxy look. this may be hard to see in the picture. Elegant card with no dies.
